Introduction
When working with Cloudinary APIs, SDKs, AI tools like MCPs, or the command line, you need your Cloudinary credentials. Here's how to find them in the Cloudinary Console.
Finding your cloud name
Log into the Cloudinary Console and open your dashboard. Your auto-generated cloud name appears at the top, in the Product Environment section. It identifies your product environment and appears in every delivery URL. You can change it to something more meaningful at Settings > Product Environments. Use the Edit option for your product environment.
Navigating to API keys
Click the 'Go to API Keys' button from your dashboard to reach the API Keys page. Here you'll see your key name (a display label), your API key, and your API secret. You can create multiple key pairs for different environments or use cases.
What you can do with your credentials
With your credentials, you can make server-side API calls to upload images, videos, and other files, manage tags and metadata, and use AI tools to access your account programmatically.
