|
Assets Admin Dashboard
1:07 | The Assets Admin Dashboard provides: In addition, your interface might vary from this tutorial as our dashboards are regularly updated for improvements. For the latest interface or any questions, contact support. |
Navigate
3:02 | To navigate within your Cloudinary account, use the Product Navigation menu located on the left. Click the Assets icon in the sidebar to access the Assets product interface, or choose the Programmable Media icon to switch products. The selected product name displays at the top of the navigation panel. If you have multiple product environments, select a product environment using the drop-down selector at the bottom of the Product Navigation menu. In the Assets product, select Dashboard to view the previously mentioned metrics. |
View the Assets Admin Dashboard
4:13 | The tutorial scrolls through the Assets Admin Dashboard page so you can see the available metrics in detail: For more information, see the Assets Admin Dashboard documentation. |
Programmable Media Dashboard
6:27 | The Programmable Media Dashboard houses your Product Environment Credentials, used by your developers for API authentication. These credentials include your Cloud Name, API Key, API Secret and API environment variable, which includes all three. Additionally, access Plan Current Usage details for your environment or account. View your Usage Overview for All Accounts and for the Current Account. The dashboard provides an Error Summary for troubleshooting with your developer team regarding API and SDK issues. Keep in mind that, due to processing requirements, the data displayed within the Assets Admin Dashboard refreshes every one to two days, causing a potential lag between the displayed data and the current state. |
View the Programmable Media Dashboard
7:26 | The tutorial scrolls through the Programmable Media Dashboard page to showcase available features. You can access the Programmable Media Dashboard by clicking the Programmable Media icon on the left sidebar in the Product Navigation menu. The Dashboard is the default view. In the Product Environment Credentials section, the API Secret is encoded for security. Always handle and transmit the API Secret with care to prevent exposure. Filter Usage Overview for All Accounts and for the Current Account based on date ranges. Explore graphs displaying transformations, bandwidth, and storage, which allow CSV downloads via corresponding icons. The Error Summary section aids developers in locating occurring errors, like the 404 - Not Found error. A high occurrence might signal integration issues or broken links. For more information, see the Dashboard documentation. |
Programmable Media Delivery Reports
10:27 | The Programmable Media Delivery Reports provide in-depth insights for content delivered outside Cloudinary, encompassing Requests, Bandwidth, Top Assets, Top Transformations, Top Delivered Assets, Top Referral Domains, Top Referral Pages, Resource Types, Top Formats, Top Browsers and Top Countries on different devices and platforms. You can filter by selected date ranges and download specific reports to CSV files. Keep in mind that, due to processing requirements, the data displayed within the Programmable Media Delivery Reports refreshes every one to two days, causing a potential lag between the displayed data and the current state. |
View the Programmable Media Delivery Reports
11:20 | To access Programmable Media Delivery Reports, make sure the Programmable Media icon on the left sidebar in the Product Navigation menu is selected. Navigate to Reports > Delivery Reports in the Product Navigation menu. Choose a date range from the provided options or create a custom range (up to twelve months). View the metrics mentioned in the previous section, including Top Assets and Top Transformations, the assets and transformations most frequently requested for delivery. Filter the data based on asset type, and sort by the amount of bandwidth used or number of requests. Understand that transformations are programmatically applied changes like format changes, For Top Referral Domains, N/A means that the referral domain isn't able to pass the information, often from mobile apps or proxies. Examine detailed resource types, bandwidth usage, and percentage breakdowns of delivered assets by type. Finally, identify countries contributing most to your requests. For more information, see the Reports documentation. |
Programmable Media Video Analytics
14:13 | The Programmable Media Video Analytics provide insights on content delivered via the Cloudinary Video Player within websites or integrations. Standalone video links with delivery URLs or MP4s are excluded. The data covers metrics like: Plays, Unique Views, Watch Time, Watch Rate and Play Rate, offering selectable date ranges of up to twelve months. It presents sections detailing Top Videos, Top Devices, Top OS (operating systems) Top Browsers, and Top Countries. Keep in mind that, due to processing requirements, the data displayed within the Programmable Media Delivery Reports refreshes every one to two days, causing a potential lag between the displayed data and the current state. |
View Programmable Media Video Analytics
15:47 | Access Programmable Media Delivery Reports by selecting the Programmable Media icon on the left sidebar in the Product Navigation menu, then selecting Video > Analytics. In the tutorial, the Show date from: date range filter is changed to Last 30 days. In the first section, explore tabs to reveal different metrics: Plays, Unique Views, Watch Time, Watch Rate and Play Rate. The Top Videos section displays insights about Player Loads, Average Watched, and Plays. (If a video shows up as undefined contact support for assistance.) Top Devices can include desktop or mobile, Top OS might include Mac OS, and Top Browsers could feature Chrome. Finally, you can identify countries making the most requests. Each section offers CSV download via its icon. Keep in mind that the date range you select limits the downloaded data as well. For more information, see the Video Analytics documentation. |
Assets Activity Report
17:35 | This feature in the Assets product offers a comprehensive view of account, user, and product environment management activities. It also encompasses product environment user actions like uploads, deletions, metadata updates, and collection management, serving auditing purposes effectively. For example, it can be helpful in identifying the user responsible for an accidental deletion, folder renaming or incorrect metadata addition. Note that the start-end dates for the reports aren't inclusive, so make sure your start and end dates are outside of the period you're interested in. Generated reports will be available for up to 30 days, with up to 30 reports available for download. Saving these reports is advised for future access. Keep in mind that report generation might take at least 10 minutes. |
View the Assets Activity Reports
19:29 | Access the Activity Reports by clicking the Assets icon in the top of the left sidebar in the Product Navigation menu. Select the Activity Reports option and select a start and end date that encompasses your desired time frame. The tutorial shows a generated report that you can download. You can also select a date range to generate a new report. When you start generating the report, a Generating label is displayed for the report being processed. Within approximately ten minutes, the label will change to Report ready, indicating completion. You can download the report in CSV format. For more information, see Assets Activity Reports. |
