New features
Require rejection reason
Promote consistency and accountability in your moderation process by requiring users to select a reason when rejecting assets manually.
Capture rejection reasons using a structured metadata field.
Automatically prompt users for a reason each time they reject an asset from the Moderation page.
Enhancements
Filters in the asset selector
It’s now easier to find exactly what you need when using the asset picker, whether you're adding assets to a collection, editing them in Studio, transforming them in the Transformation Builder, or more.
You can now apply filters directly in the picker to narrow your results and speed up your workflow.
Quick Favorites access in the left navigation
Now folders, collections, and saved searches starred as favorites are even more easily accessible from the left navigation menu.
Streamlined login for the Figma Plugin
Logging in to Cloudinary’s Figma Plugin is now quicker and easier. You can select your cloud name from a dropdown list. No need to switch back to the Cloudinary Console to look it up.
Improved breadcrumbs in the Media Library
Breadcrumbs now clearly show your location when browsing folders and collections so you always know where you are.
Account management
Enhanced backup settings UI
There's now a new and improved UI for backing up new uploads and existing assets.
Assiging users to product environments
From the User Management > Users page in Console Settings, you can now assign users to product environments directly by clicking the Product Environments column. Assign up to 30 environments, or select All with a single click.
Coming soon
Open a new refiner from the Manage page
In the Analysis tab of an asset’s Manage page, you can currently select Define Area of Interest to manually crop the image or set coordinates that Cloudinary uses for automatic cropping. A new and improved cropping interface is on the way!
Manage derived assets from the Manage page
You can currently view a list of derived assets for an asset on its Manage page. Soon, you’ll also be able to manage derived assets directly from that page, including downloading, and opening the derived asset in a new tab, and editing the transformation.
